Salima Chehardine

I am a Registered Mental Health Social Worker with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Manitoba and a Master’s degree from Dalhousie University. I work with adults, adolescents, and couples who are navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, life transitions, and other emotional and mental health concerns.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in warmth, compassion, and collaboration. I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Informed Therapy, Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Together, we will tailor the therapeutic process to meet your unique needs, goals, and strengths.
I offer therapy services in English, Arabic, and French, creating an inclusive and culturally responsive environment where clients can feel understood and supported.
I believe therapy is both a science and an art — a collaborative journey that provides space for exploration, reflection, healing, and personal growth. My goal is to help you build resilience, gain insight, and create meaningful, lasting change in your life.
