Ayodele Olatunde

I am a Registered Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting youth, adults, and families through a wide range of mental health, addiction, and life challenges. My professional experience spans healthcare, residential care, shelter services, and community-based programs across Canada and Nigeria, allowing me to provide culturally responsive and inclusive care.
I specialize in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional distress, relationship challenges, life transitions, and addiction-related concerns. I am particularly passionate about working with youth, helping them navigate emotional regulation, identity development, family conflict, behavioral challenges, and mental health concerns while building resilience, confidence, and healthy coping strategies.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in trauma-informed, strengths-based, and client-centered principles. I believe meaningful healing occurs within safe, trusting, and collaborative relationships where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered. Together, we work toward building emotional resilience, self-awareness, practical coping skills, healthier relationships, and overall well-being.
I have extensive experience working with multicultural populations, Indigenous communities, Black communities, immigrants, and newcomers. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to culturally safe, respectful, and relationship-focused care that honors each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and identity.
I believe therapy is a collaborative journey that creates space for healing, growth, and meaningful change. My goal is to help clients build resilience, develop practical tools, and move forward with greater confidence and well-being.
